Summary

Amends the

Broadcasting Services Act 1992
to: enable commercial and national free-to-air broadcasters to provide their primary television broadcasting services in standard definition or high definition; and make consequential amendments.

We acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of country throughout Australia and acknowledge their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to the people, the cultures and the elders past, present and emerging.
